I was charged £38 for a 50 sec reverse charge call from U.S.
What's that all about. |

What's that all about. http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/p.../1119_d0e1.htm USA is band B, so £5 a minute collect, minimum charge of 5 minutes = £25 plus call connect charge of £14.75 Total: £39.75 Next time, when they say "Do you want to accept a reverse charge international call?" the answer you want to give is "No." On the bright side, it could have been worse, they could have been on a satellite phone, that would have cost you £70. |

I always refuse reverse charge calls, I also have the competitor service 0800 Reverse blocked on my line.

When I was in the Philippines in 1991 I called my parents reverse charge and the call was over £100 for a few minutes! My dad was NOT HAPPY when the bill came.
