After all they are all making mega bucks for appearing on the show. I am glad that Mikey does not go on and on and on about Stephen......”

Probably one of the reasons why he's one of the more popular ones on here.

Although even HE had to do the obligatory naked under the physiotherapist last week!

Basically I keep watching it for T and D's numbers.

That man irritates me so much ,Its a pity Holly does so little of the presenting in comparassion to Tess on SCD

Would like Holly to do more.

Without them, this show would be Chav Central.

Can't you just Sky plus whatever is on at the same time? Or sky plus DOI instead? Although I dont think there is anything else worth watching on a Sunday night at the moment personally.

It can't be put on later because its a family show, watched by a lot of kiddies who have to be up for school the following morning

It was also on Sunday evenings last year.

I agree that the ratings are maybe down due to the length of the programme (undoubtedly made so long by the constant adverts). This must put a lot of people off, and I'll admit although I have adored all the series' to date, if I didn't have sky+ this year, I'd seriously think twice about watching it.

If you cut the time from the ad breaks, the intros, the shouting presenters (very annoying) etc, the prog would probably only be about 45 mins long at the most!!

I always wondered that as well I would assume not, which means falling ratings for every show as more and more people get Sky+.

The line-up is better this year but I'm not excited by it....Zoe Salmon was exciting

Sky+, V+ and others like that don't count in the overnight, but do count towards the official figures published by BARB.

There are certain homes that have equipment installed which measures what you are watching and what you record and they both get counted. My house was one of these up until the end of the year, so unfortunately we don't count anymore.

Yes this is true, but the problem for ITV is that the people who record the show on sky+ fast forward through the ads. So advertisers look at the overnights only and not the final figures

I'm sick to death of seeing an untalented, overpaid, 'Barbie' look alike, that doesn't have a thought of her own paired with a self indulgent, self appraising, overbearing 'Ken' every time I turn my TV on ... regardless of the time.

Get rid of them, and leave it to the professionals and I may watch again ...

The public get cheesed off with pathetic decisions such as Sinitta being voted off before Heather Mills or Sharon Davis, for example.
They also get chessed off with the pathetic same same comments from Jason.
Its also quite a lot to asked of the public to give Emma Bunton any credance for her comments on Ice Skating....give us a break.

I prefer to watch shows like this on a Saturday night. Sunday nights for me are bathing the kids, ironing and getting everything ready for the week ahead!
I SKY+ this show and half the time don't end up watching half of it!

I think this year there is little of interest, and now we know that the judges pre-decide the order on the leader board, it just comes off as a bit fixed. They have already decided that Daniella and Hayley are the finalist, and they are good, but it is now too contrived.

Emma Bunton knows nothing, and brings nothing, Jason is just insulting.

I record it and watch that, so I can FF past the dull parts -- which is most of it.

This poster has absolutely "nailed it" and summed up very succinctly precisely why the ratings are so low. ITV take note!!

I think the line up is really really weak. Theres only one really good person on this year.

Its also drags out for ages. I think it was 24 minutes into the show before the first act performed this week. Thats ridiculous.

Its lucky theres nothing competing on BBC1 or i think it could drop dramatically in the ratings.

I don't think that's fair at all. There are 3 or 4 with a decent shot at winning, which is a distinct improvement on last years Ray Quinn yawn-a-thon...

I have totally the opposite view, I found each show last year exciting BECAUSE of Ray Quinn who was wonderful to watch each week. How anyone could yawn watching him is beyond me! I too find them all quite bland this year, and unfortunately the one good skater comes across as a bit manic. She also is not in the same class as the best skater last year (although I doubt we will see that again). There really is no WOW factor this year unfortunately. Also I am finding the choreography really boring too and not too keen on many of the music choices either.

Last year was crap because of Ray. It was obvious from week 1 he would win thus it was just a competition for 2nd place....very boring

On the contrary it was not obvious at all seeing as the final was totally down to a public vote and it was quite feasible that someone else, say Donal would be more popular in the final analysis. That surely is obvious, and is exactly what happened in the last series of Strictly, where a poor dancer won over one who was very good but did not get the popular vote! So it was perfectly possible, although it would not have been right, for Ray Quinn to lose out. You never know with a public vote.

But really I can't understand anyone not finding Rays routines great to watch regardless of whether you thought he would win or not tbh. Last year would have been far more boring without him, although admittedly not as boring as this year.
