Yesterday to the date, and today to the day. It is of course 5 years since the fateful night that changed X Factor forever.
It was the moment that angered the entire nation and XF has never been the same since. In these 5 long years, there have been plenty of ups and downs, moments when many thought it could be all finished for her only to have come back stronger.
And to think, even though she doesn't get much public attention now, this is still one of the most busiest appreciation forums on Digital Spy for a series 6 contestant and she is still continuing to get more and more followers on Twitter. That just shows true dedication from us.
Now all fingers are crossed that 2015 is finally going to be the breakthrough year for Lucie Jones - with a starring role on Midsomer Murders, getting to perform at more big events, and maybe, just maybe, that long awaited album will at long last be released.
Whatever happens, I'm sure that Lucie can count herself blessed that she continues to have such an amazing fanbase, that has continued to support her through thick and thin.
Here's to the next five years!

Hi guys! Travelled all the way down to Dorset on Sunday to see lucie perform at westend & Broadway songbook show,only found out about this show on Saturday night as lucie was a replacement for cassie compton,took me 3 hours to get there but it was well worth it because lucie was superb!! She sang songs from Les mis and Wicked and the crowd loved her!
Got to meet her after the show and she was lovely,earlier in the day she sent me a DM on Twitter that I shouldnt go all that way because it was a million miles away from me hahaha!! I had nothing else on that day so I went and it was a wonderful show

Tonight's the night. Less than two hours now until Lucie makes her long-awaited return to TV in Midsomer Murders. Don't forget the song she sings in the episode will be available to download to keep.
Lucie was great, camera loved her. Totally natural actress and there is surely more to come. Downloaded the song earlier, she sounds superb singing country as well. Delighted for her.

Hi guys, saw lucie performing last week at the Millenium centre in cardiff a show called Wales Number 1,a celebration of all Welsh singers/songwriters which reached number 1 in the charts.It was a great show and as usual lucie was fantastic and looked Beautiful on stage.Got to meet her after the show she was lovely as usual,she just about made it to the show because she had a flight cancelled from paris

Lucie's role in the 'Ghost' musical been confirmed officially today. So she'll be in China for the next few months.
That of course means her EP/album release, which she briefly mentioned in the video interview I posted a couple of weeks back is going to be pushed back yet again. I really have a bad feeling that because she gets so much acting work (which is good for her, I don't dispute that), she'll end up shelving the album completely and just focus on acting. It's perhaps the third or fourth time she's mentioned that she is going to bring it out and nothing has materialised.

So the rumour was true. Well done lucie, make no mistake guys this is a serious achievement for lucie . This is a very big roll in a very big show, and the few that are capable of playing molly would have auditioned for it. I,v looked up ghost and the both the actress/singers who last played molly in london and Broadway were about 30. Lucie is 23. Amazing news. And I,m delighted for her. Anyone heard about Jedward recently, simon.!!
Hmm, sorry had a bit of a rant then. I to hope to hear an album from lucie Tymad 999 and let's hope we do. Ilovelucie, what did lucie sing in cardiff millenium center. I,v never been there but it's supposed to be amazing ?.
