Yep, Lucie's been cast as Cosette and she's in rehearals at the moment. thenetworkbabe posted on here (post #1617) that the cast members currently in the roles of Eponine and Cosette share a dressing-room so Sam and Lucie may well be sharing one too.

There's a gig that shouldn't be affected as it's 10 days before Lucie starts in Les Mis. It's at Field Mill Stadium, Mansfield on 11th June with Lucie, Jamie Archer, Danyl Johnson, Stacey Solomon and Jedward. Adult tickets £20 but under 16s are only £5 Spread the word lol

It may be a pit premature because Lucie doesn't take over the role of Cosette in Les Mis until 21 June, but she's aleady been listed by Show and Stay magazine as one of The Ten Hottest Women in the West End

It's easy really When I'm working at my computer I keep three extra tabs open in my browser – two on Google with "Lucie Jones" in the search box and search options set at "Latest news" (one tab set to search "The Web", the other to search "Pages from the UK" because they usually find different things), and one on YouTube searching for "Today" uploads. Makes me sound like a bit of an anorak, I know, but they take less than a minute to set up and then I just refresh the tabs every so often to see if there's anything new. As I do most of my work on the computer anyway, it's no big deal

If the facts as stated in this post are correct, looks as though Lucie will be fulfilling all the gigs she's got scheduled for her over the summer. edit: it's worth visiting the forum at musicals.net for news about Les Mis. The forum members are extremely knowledgeable about the production and there's currently an ongoing discussion about temporary and permanent Cosettes. The timing of the posts is a bit confusing as the site is based in the USA, so they're US timings not UK. They're UK time minus 8 hours

On another note the Thorpe Park videos are amazing. Empire State Of Mind is my new favourite Lucie song I can listen over and over and not get bored of it.

Maybe all this confusion has delayed the press release .

I just hope we don't have to wait 3 months until Lucie starts in Les Mis. I'm already looking forward to seeing it.

I've seen a few tweets which suggest Lucie may be attending the Soccer Six chariy match next Monday. I know Stacey will be playing but I haven't a clue about Lucie.

Haha! So am I As far as I can make any sense of the situation from what I've picked up off the web, because it's the 25th anniversary year of Les Mis there are going to be some big names joining the cast in the principal roles for three weeks from 21 June. There's quite a bit of speculation about who these "big names" are but it is only speculation prior to an official announcement in June. My guess is that Lucie's press release won't appear until this official announcement has been made but as soon as I find any more info I'll post it on here
