If the whole point of mineral foundation is that you buff it right into your skin to get that polished look, what is the point of using a primer? Wouldn't it just get buffed away? Or otherwise the powder is just going to sit on top of the primer, it won't sink in. Does anyone get a good result from using their primer, then the mineral foundation?

I use a primer around my eyes and chin with mineral foundation. If I don't I find the powder can congregate in all the little cracks and wrinkles I've started to develop. I don't need it all over my face (yet) but it doesn't buff off when I use it either.

I have been advised to use a primer for my skin as the minreal foundation doesnt seem to last - it skins into my skin. I have used the primer and found it doesnt help
