The Paul's Boutique bags have always caught my eye, mostly because they are quite elaborate designs and unique. However, I seem to wonder whether this is a sort of quirky, wacky trend or they are just plain-chavvy?

*If you haven't seen the bags before, here is the website - http://pauls-boutique.com/

Discalimer- I am not critiscising the bags, I am just asking for your opinions.

Thanks!

It depends who is holding it- though I don't consider Top Shop (where you can get them) to be chavvy... mind you it seems anything popular is considered chavvy by some. .. I can't keep up (getting old

It's bloody expensive.

I'd say for anything to be truly 'unique' it would be a one-off customised design, rather than mass-made. Some of them are nice, but I really don't like big brand names plastered across anything I carry/wear.

I love Paul's Boutique, I buy the hoodies and tops from Selfridges. I know they aren't COMPLETELY unique, but there are so many 'variations' of each that you're far less likely to see someone else in the same one as you than if you had a Topshop/Nike/A&F etc top on.

I don't think they're chavvy

Not the kind of stuff I would wear, but they don't look chavvy to me.

I remember 10+ years ago they had parka style coats out, I still see the odd person floating by in one now and then

I see one girl in one with a badge sewn on hers that said 'slippery when wet' *shudders*

I think they are a bit naf tbh with the big name on it.

I think it's the guy who's house features in those bogroll adverts.

I wouldn't wear it and find it quite garish but I know a couple of people who do and they're not remotely chavvy.

It's a clothes shop in Brooklyn I think. The Beastie Boys had an album named after it.

I love Paul's Boutique and have done for ages i hardly call it chavvy.
The chavs tend to wear the Henleys copycat versions.

Not chavvy per se, just a bit tacky with the big brand across it. total rip off for what it is aswell.

It's not charva 'fashion' in the slightest. I don't think much of the bag though. Neither is River Island.

I'd hardly call River Island chavvy.

I bought this bag: http://www.thebaglady.tv/mj_paulsboutique.jpg from PB ages ago.. really liked it, it didn't have the huge logo on it and it lasted me two years without wearing out too badly, despite using it most days. Normally I have to get a new handbag every few months

There are some nice PB bags but I think most of them are tacky. I've seen a lot of chavvy looking girls carrying them in my uni town, not so much at home.

I see my Mum's skanky chav neighbour in a PB coat today, she would be enough to put you off for life !!!

I'm not familiar with the clothes but not keen on the bags. It's not really my style, I think they look a bit cheap and trashy TBH.
