Does anyone know why Series 6 of Bad Girls is shorter than the previous ones? Tv Times claims there are only 8 episodes this time. But I have also heard 10 and 12 episodes mentioned. Can anyone clear up this confusion, and tell me the reason for the shorter series?

I was wondering about that too, but i have found this schedual for shows on a danielle brent site and that says there are 12 episodes in this series:

Not sure why they are shorter, but they only used to have 12 episodes in the first series and maybe series two.

Whatever the reason, there is no need to cut back on the Bad Girls

I think that they felt the standards slipped over the last few series, so they've gone back to the shorter runs they had in series 1&2 to have more time to make better quality drama

Yes it is 12 episodes this series, yet the first and last episodes are 90 minutes long.

Also Zoe Lucker claimed Tanya Turner (Footballers Wives) would turn up up about episode six so we got a while to wait yet
