Is Airways the Australian Version of Airlines/Airport? If it is, then I share the embarrassment at the high rating.

Border Security and Airways did really well! The News is certainly popular Down Under.

That's right. Very similar. The description of last night's episode reads:

"A family's holiday is destroyed when their flight is cancelled for the second time. Plus, staff try to identify a man found passed out in the Tiger Terminal toilets, a fight breaks out as passengers struggle to switch airlines at the last minute, and a bargain hunter pays more than she had bargained for."

Yeah. Seven seem to be onto a good thing with their factual heavy Sunday lineup.

Good to see the numbers generally beginning to pick up again. V debuted well, although not as high as The Good Wife's premiere.

Polls (like ratings!) are oftern mis-understood. The Tories are doing a lot better in marginals. You may well end up with Labour winning safe seats by +20/+30% but the Tories winning a lot more marginals by +2/+5%. Seats not % share is ultimately what counts.

I think the polls are going to be more interesting than the tv ratings for the next 2 months.

That's not me saying a 9% lead is not enough for an overall majority, it was the News Of The World.

And I'm aware that opinion polls tend to favour Labour due to some people being too embarrassed to admit they plan to vote Conservative

but....

I now pledge to make no more political statements in this thread (unless, of course, it's definitely, and not remotely tenuously, linked to ratings.)

As expected for BBC1 between 6-8pm, though 8-10pm was lower than previous weeks probably due to the new BBC2 schedule which may have appealed to a similar kind of audience.

TV Burp did well for its repeat, but it looks like DOI won't hit 9m until the final. DOI's and WAH's ratings are pretty much on par with what they've been in recent weeks, but down quite a bit from their 2009 series (especially DOI).

Mixed bag for BBC1. Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow did well, but the latter part of the evening was down. ITV also appeared to under perform with DOI under 9m.

Robbie can whinge and whine all he likes about TV Burp's ratings, but its no way near dead with 9m tuning in over 2 showings.

Bit disappointing for Stardust. I think it was capable of pulling in a lot more, but the slot wasn't the best.

But I am pleased at how well Wonders... performed. Looking forward to watching my recording later, I know it will be excellent.

Strange scheduling that the heavily promoted Solar System is put against Seven Ages. Both big series aiming to educate and entertain-it would seem that Solar System is educating and entertaining some of Seven Ages viewership.

So that's another 4.4m for TV Burp which brings this week to 9.15m, most likely 10m in officials and ITV2 repeats etc bring in around 1 million.

So, with 11m viewers in total Harry must be doing something right. Harry may have included some very immature segments in recent series, but this is what viewers want! It's now a show the whole family can watch and there really is something for everyone in it, which is why it's so popular! He's managed to keep the classic Harry elements as well as appealing to new viewers aswell, so well done Harry!

What Harry doesn't make on Saturday he makes up on other showings, which a lot of people tend to forget. Because when Harry was bringing in 6-7m on Saturdays the repeat showings were around 3m viewers.

Harry's viewers haven't deserted him at all..

The only worrying thing is ITV haven't mentioned at all in recent weeks the ITV/Sky situation regarding him, which makes me think he is going to Sky, and Sky are just waiting to make it official. I seriously hope not though..

Good night for BBC Two - Lambing Live nicked some of the country audience from Lark Rise (though LR still did more than OK) while Wonders of the Solar System evidently hit Seven Ages too.

Very strong rating for Antiques Roadshow which enjoyed a 15 minute head start on Dancing on Ice. I wonder how close those two might have been in the 45 minutes they clashed. The gap could well have been under a million!

The DOI/WAH combination has been steady, but a bit underwhelming compared to previous years.

ITV has pretty much declined to comment on the reports all the way through so I don't see why that would change now.

If a deal has already been made then I doubt ITV would be giving their potentially last series such exposure (two high profile slots at the weekend, repeats on ITV2 and the ITV Player).

The show is a tremendous success but bannering 11 around is a little misleading. There is no way 11 would tune in if it was shown only once and alot of BBC repeated dramas at 6.00 on Sunday have doubled their audience in that slot. Its no surprise that a watchable and inoffensive half hour like Burp will pick up an audience opposite Countryfile and this is bound to create a decent audience overall.

FYI - I might not always post on this thread every week

best to check BARB site between 2 and 4pm, if the latest week isn't up then it's probably been delayed

I dont think ITV would be daft enough to relegate a potential audience grabber like Burp because it might be the last series.
HH would be daft to leave, certainly after what happened to Harry Enfield. Money talks though and I would not be that shocked if it talked loud enough here.

I'm noticing quite a few problems with Sky Sports data.

w/e 21 Feb - data for all 4 Sky Sports channels was loaded and then deleted as it was obviously wrong - the data for certain days was missing - eg live Premier League football games were not in the top 10s which was obviously wrong. The data has not been corrected - it's just been left blank.

w/e 28 Feb - again the top 10 for Sky Sports 1 is wrong - there are no programmes from the Sunday which had Rangers v Celtic and the Carling Cup Final - it is obvious that these should be in the top 10.

I'm sure it's not your fault but it looks as if errors are being made left, right and centre. I only look at the Sky Sports numbers but if they have this many errors how many errors are there in the numbers for other channels?

Does anyone from BARB actually review this data before it is officially released to do a sense check on it?
