I guess the Beckham hype worked. There's going to be a big fall next week, however, what with two foreign teams playing. Mediocre night for BBC1, but BBC2 performed extremely well between 7-10pm to average 2m+. Inside John Lewis certainly exceeded my expectations, and it wasn't too far behind BBC1 at the time! Looks like C4 was hit by the football coverage, but Five held steady especially NCIS which isn't too far behind CSI nowadays. |

A bit stupid for both BBC1 and 2 to be running factual line ups last night between 8-10.

digiguide has update with this
Sunday: Seven Ages of Britian Monday: New Tricks Tuesday: Richard Hammonds Invisible Worlds Wednesday: Panorama Thursday: Inside the Perfect Predator Friday: Over the Rainbow ....but the Radio Times website lists Panorama as "Chocolate - The Bitter truth." A much more viewer-friendly (ratings-friendly) title.

I still think ITV does better with the Northern Teams while BBC does better with the Southern/Welsh/Scottish/Foreign teams. Great figure for ITV there, but it looks like the BBC One could be developing a little Flopzone there.
![]() Jesus Christ that schedule is dire. I'm not even sure Channel 4 or FIVE could get away with schedules like that. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I can't say I'm that surprised seeing as the show has had a succession of bad producers for around 5 years and the quality is quite poor because of this. Also, TEN are stupid for putting it on at 6:30 up against 'A Current Affair' and 'Today Tonight'. Overall, the standard of programmes across all the channels looks so weak. A country that has a population of 20m+ has no excuse for such poor TV. |

Dancc why is A Current Affair on both 7 & 9, one of them should be Today Tonight.
one thing im reading about Neigbhours, is that it is being hit hard by the freeview channels in Australia, 7Two etc but the general thing to remeber about Australian TV is that ratings are poor due to the fact its not part of Australian culture like TV is over here, hence the large amount of US & UK imports, to be honest I dont think there would be much Aussie drama, if the Australian government didnt put a quota on the channels. |

Yes, that must be the reason.
Are there any demographic breakdowns for Australian ratings? The 16-34 (or whatever) demo over here tends to be fairly low as it is, I'd dread to think of what it's like in Australia with the weather and of course the differences in TV culture. |

Neighbours ratings, as a proportion of Ten's ratings have remained pretty solid.
Yeh it was getting higher figures before, but so was the rest of Ten's schedule. |

Not left him long to find a replacement now. |
