You have to wonder about some of the decisions Cameron's people are making for him. Why did they settle for a lower-profile interview?

Then again, if you have a man with elaborately camouflaged thinning hair, why would you send him out jogging for a photo opportunity in the pouring rain, like they did a few weeks ago?

Christine water-skiied across the channel
James has done another sketch as Smithy, after the one for Comic Relief was so popular
Fearne, Davina and Patrick all did the million pound bike mile.

So there is a reason for them to be there, not just because they are the same old faces.

I dont know if it was mentioned before but when Barrowmans Tonights the night returns it will be tied in with the lottery.

Quote:
“ Tonight's The Night, hosted by John Barrowman, has been recommissioned. The show, which will be produced this summer, will be tied to the National Lottery and include the live draws.

Interesting news. Looks like we're going to see fewer ten-minute draw shows this year. We've already had eight weeks of In It to Win It, and another series on the way. We've got Who Dares Wins at the moment. 1 v 100 is on the way, and isn't there supposed to be another new lotto quiz involving cash amounts in envelopes?

Alan Carr and Fern Brittian worked well together.

Any idea whos hosting with who and at what times?

Highest rating of the year so far for Paronama - yesterday's episode was about illegal downloading. It's also in the Top Five most watched programmes on BBC iPlayer at the moment!

“20:00- The Lakes: 3.9m (15.3%)”

There's not been much talk about The Lakes on here, but it's been a success for ITV1 in a difficult slot against an in-form EastEnders. With just one episode of the series remaining, the overnight series average is currently 4.2m (16%). To put that into perspective, it's up 0.4-0.5m from what Tonight averaged in the first 11 Mondays of last year and in 2008. Another series should be on the cards.

Last year pre-revamp, the ratings for NaT were only up by 0.2m compared to 2008. That rise was mostly just due to the Britain's Got Talent week which helped it get exceptionally high figures. Take out that week, and NaT was basically flat year on year and showed no real signs of closing the gap on BBC News at Ten.

Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Burnout is seven episodes long which would slot in before BGT week, so April 9th looks more likely for the 2nd Door episode.

She's filming a pilot for a show in Rotherham, so I'm guessing its certain for a Friday, 9pm slot.

Tonights the Night & the Lottery seem like a good mix, also I hope John Barrowman him self does the Lottery draws, or there is really no point making it part of the show.

According to my memory, Tonight's the Night is the first entertainment (not focusing heavily on a quiz) lotto show since Dale's All Stars back in 2001.

Looks like 1 Vs 100 is dead and buried then.

Is it just me or is Ant and Dec's Push the Button very similar to the final game played on Graham Norton's Totally Saturday? Where two families sat on sofas and played against each other to win a prize by pushing a button?

This being Totally Saturday, the rip-off of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Is this a rip-off of someone's rip-off of your own show?

Anyway, long story short - the show is pants.

Wikipedai as the Sport Relief line up as this-

7-830 Gary Lineker and Christine Bleakley

8.30-10 Richard Hammond and Claudia Winkelman

10.35-11.50 James Cordan and Davina Mccall

11.50-1.30 Patrick Kielty and Fearne cotton

Not sure if this is true as Clauida and Patrcik normally host together.

Just finished watching Panorama from last night, which is generating a bit of debate on here.

I don't understand why its the Chocolate edition of Panorama which gets the 9pm slot a week Wednesday, in my opinion, the internet police Panorama edition could have easily got 5/6m in the 9pm slot, as its a hot topic in the run-up to the election.

Own goal by BBC there.

Nope, as Push the Button is basically the electronic game Simon. Where the end game on Totally Saturday had the winning family pushing a button to stop a rising and lowering totaliser which works out how many miles they are from their holiday destination.

It is right, it's in the Radio Times. Of course this is only the second Sport Relief to be on a Friday night, the first three were on Saturday nights in July. But now it seems to be just a way to have a Red Nose Day every year, certainly much of it seems identical to Comic Relief these days, especially as Comic Relief now does loads of non-comedic stuff.

Not surprising, as the Beeb are now filming all lottery-related shows in Scotland as part of their Out Of London quota. Of course, Barrowman won't be presenting the draws themselves as they're done in Camelot's Fort Knox-esque studio in Buckinghamshire. And they're live, which Tonight's The Night won't be.

Yes - it's The South Bank Show Revisited! ie, Melvyn interviewing someone and showing clips of their old appearances from years ago.

I take it declining ratings and an ageing format did for Hell's Kitchen. Last year's only attracted 3.9 million viewers on average.

I doubt John Barrowman will do the lottery draws himself as they come from 'Lotto HQ' thesedays. Will we get a ridiculous situation of two lots of credits per show

It was Hell's Kitchen's most watched series since 2004, unbelievably! Consolidated averages:

2004- 6.2m
2005- 4.3m
2007- 3.9m
2009- 4.4m

A one-series wonder. It couldn't cope with the loss of Ramsey. Also it was reportedly quite expensive as all the celebs had to live with each other and so they demanded big fees. This new show is apparently much cheaper.

Completely agree - as soon as a Strictly Come Dancing special was confirmed it's too CiN! It's basically what Comic Relief would be like if those who ran it ever handed over control to the BBC.

I think moving Sport Relief from June to March and from Saturday to Friday was a huge mistake IMO. They've made it now like a Comic Relief lite, and the focus on the Sport Relief Mile has gone with that shunted out to Sunday afternoon. I also think they've gone too far with their celebrity challenges this time - one or two flagship challenges are great, but there seems to be loads of them this time and it's taking the emphasis away from the general public doing the fundraising, and frankly is looking rather self indulgent on the celebrities part - as if they're doing it "for charity" the same way celebs do Celebrity Big Brother and I'm a Celeb "for charity".

Given that ITV will probably only get about 2.4m between 19:30 and 22:00 tonight, what are the chances of Sky Sports 2 coming close to beating it with Chelsea vs Inter Milan on?

Well it looks like Sport Relief hasnt made any impact with record buyers or downloaders, Robbie Williams official single failed to make the top 40.
