A one-series wonder. It couldn't cope with the loss of Ramsey. Also it was reportedly quite expensive as all the celebs had to live with each other and so they demanded big fees. This new show is apparently much cheaper.”

Sorry wrong year, 2007 was 3.9, but I know some early shows in 2009 perilously close to the cancellation level of 3 million or less. Also the long gaps between series, reality shows really have to be an annual thing as people quickly move on and forget, can't have been too helpful ratings wise. Again another factor in its demise could have been, as pointed out, high costs relative to its ratings( I'm A Celeb probably costs slightly more but pulls in double the ratings) and also the fact costs can't be recouped in repeat showing s and DVDs.

) get.

A sixteen epside order for a show which is struggling to get 4m in the overnights. Not even the most popular dramas on TV have that kind of episode order!
