I don't believe there would be any problems showing the programme during a hung parliament, but there is a big risk that the Parliament fails and the new Prime Minister is forced to ask the Queen to desolve Parliament again for a new election.
In which case the BBC would face the total embarrassment of taking the series off air mid-way through - given that they have publicly committed to not airing the show during an election campaign.
If it is a hung parliament I think BBC1 will have to hold off until there is some stability.
Total disaster from start to finish - all the BBC's fault. He asked them if it would be a problem, the BBC told him it was fine, then suddenly the Daily Mail and the shadow cabinet kick up a fuss and the BBC changes its mind. They should have either told him it wasn't fine, or continued with the show at the regular time.”

Unfortuantely, this is a sign of the BBC in recent years - running scared of any action that might even be seen as slightly controversial.
Does anyone honestly believe that Sir Alan featuring in The Apprentice would sway the votes of a single person? It would be nice for the press/opposition to treat the public with a bit of respect!

(Even me at times
)
Hope BBC can solve the problem.
