Interesting that SW doesn't repeat well. I was expecting more ~5m myself and surprising that around 3 million viewers realised it was a repeat.

Is that the first time ever The Bill has won its slot?! I have been saying in recent weeks that ITV do need to do something, but looking at how well it does with 16-34's and it gets double of L&O I'm starting to see ITV's reasoning.

Great rating for Robson Green-almost as high as what he was getting on ITV1

The Bill's 2010 average is now 4m when rounding to one decimal place - I think that is just about acceptable for ITV to keep it on.
Shame to see Skins falling but it is still pretty much in-line with last year's average so no big drop really.

Pity it's taking a three week break for football but Five have had a good week with all 9pm breaking 1m and all but one 8pm shows breaking 1m too.

E4 seem to be on fire atm. Shameless, Skins, Glee, Cleveland Show.
I'd imagine How I Met Your Mother also performed well, and the Hollyoaks FC seems to be 200k up

Good for The Bill... but it really should be higher 4m, yet won its slot? Not really good enough. Superb for EastEnders, 41% is a brilliant share.

I'm not sure if it's just me,but the last couple of episodes seem to be better. I struggled to enjoy it since the revamp, but mabye it's a change in a better direction for The Bill.

The Bill had 4.02m last night so really did hit 4m rather than just the high 3.9's. I can see it increasing next week against different genre Masterchef.

How I met your Mother had 353k (1.5%) on E4 only.

If they're still using the film effect, wobbly cameras, dark lighting and pathetic incidental "music", then I doubt it- they're the main things about the revamp that made me switch off. Those things need to be gone before I even consider tuning in again.

cant say I noticed any of that, but maybe im used to it now.

A couple of disappointing ratings at 9pm last night. Hardly surprising, though, as the BBC One announcers spent most of the evening warning about Silent Witness being a repeat.

A 4m rating for The Bill doesn't look as bad as 3.9m, but it is still an unimpressive figure.

Throw in the ratings for Survivors, and you can see why reliable returners such as Hustle and Law and Order: UK are valuable.

um got new listings from digiguide

Five have split up NCIS & Numb3rs, Numb3rs now airs at 23:00. L&O:CI now airs at 10pm

E4 is going to air S2 episode of the Big Bang Theory, not sure why this is, as ive posted before its not like they will have caught up with CBS.

According to Digiguide Mock the Week is on again, which is odd as the clip show finale is on the previous week, so that seems like a mistake.

But by that token (and I concur) why would ITV axe reliable performers like Rosemary and Thyme and Heartbeat (which was seemingly deliberately destroyed without even a fitting finale episode being shot after all these years). Killing off a proven ratings winner by moving it around and showing odd episodes here and there in nothing like proper series looks crazy given the failure of some of the new shows.

Fringe returns to Sky 1 on 2 March (with what is billed as a special episode to whet the appetite for the rest of series, this being series 2 episode 11).

Anyone know why it is being promoted that way? Are they trying to rejig the series and boost ratings, perhaps? They appear from this thread to have foundered a bit in the US.

According to my DigiGuide, after they have aired the first 11 episodes of season 3 they are starting again from the beginning.

I won't complain though as I was happy to see it back as early as December!

Brilliant show, and I'm thrilled it is doing so well. In some ways it's performance is more impressive than the likes of Skins and Glee which received FAR more promotion.

I would rather have new episode than repeats whenever possible.

Well me too. I'm sure the reason for the gap must be to avoid catching up with US transmission in the near future.

Not surprising as Numb3rs was doing poorly out of NCIS and I think this will be the last season anyway.

it is possible Numb3rs is in its last series, but its not confirmed yet. Heroes is in the same sitution.

Saturday 27th February provisional schedules:

BBC1
15:30 - Six Nations
18:00 - BBC News
18:20 - TBA
18:45 - Let's Dance for Sport Relief
20:00 - Lottery: IITWI
20:50 - Casualty
21:40 - Live at the Apollo
22:10 - BBC News
22:30 - MOTD

ITV1
18:00 - All Star Family Fortunes
18:45 - You've Been Framed!
19:15 - Harry Hill's TV Burp
19:45 to 23:45 - TBA

I presume Mr and Mrs' current run finishes on 20th February. I hope ITV's schedule changes to:

18:30 - You've Been Framed!
19:00 - Harry Hill's TV Burp
19:30 - Push the Button
20:30 - All Star Family Fortunes

While ASFF is on quite late in my schedule, IIRC just after Xmas it was in a similar slot and still got good numbers.

As for the remainder of the week, there's nothing out of the unordinary.

Mr and Mrs isn't due to end until March 6th, unless ITV are holding two episodes back. I like you're schedule, but I heard that Ultimate Movie Toons is airing that night, so I don't know how that'll slot in.

Do News at Ten ratings for either BBC or ITV get reported? I can't find them.
