Dancing With The Stars (ABC) – strong performer on ABC for several years
Moving Up (TLC) – 4 seasons, future unconfirmed
Great American Road Trip (NBC) – flopped (moved slot mid series)
MTV’s Top Pop Group (MTV) – flopped (cancelled mid series)
How Much Is Enough (GSN) – flopped (moved to late night weekend slot)
Dance War: Bruno vs Carrie Ann (ABC) – flopped & cancelled

They have also made pilots of Ab Fab (FOX), Top Gear (NBC) which didn't get picked up.

ITV Studios:
Kitchen Nightmares (FOX) - strong performer
Hells Kitchen (FOX) - strong performer
I'm A Celebrity... Get me Out Of Here (NBC) - flopped, has been cancelled
Celebrity Fit Club (VH1) - still ongoing, does OK for the cable network
The Chopping Block (NBC) - flopped, cancelled mid series
Eleventh Hour (CBS) - Drama which got full series order but was dropped at the end
Nanny 911 (CMT) - Moved to cable after 3 years on FOX
Runaway Squad (A&E) - Reality series which seems to have done OK

They've got a pilot of "Search For The Next Great American Recipe" at LIFETIME network, produced a pilot titled "Spaced" for FOX and have the "Prime Suspect" pilot with NBC.

And they're also developing something for Jeremy Kyle! ”

I guess that shows the difference that resulted in ABC going to BBC WW - all of ABC's commissions listed have been with BBC WW. ITV aren'tdoing badly there though. And if they get rid of Kyle to America, all the better.

One more question: surely ITV have got the Dancing on Ice format copyrighted in America? After all, they produced it for FOX before.

Thanks for those Sonny.

Good night for BBC1 with Five Days ending strongly.

Pretty poor night for ITV1-both of Corrie's ratings below 9m in early March and shares below 40% isn't good surely? As expected really for Winner-with only 2 episodes left not much point in pulling it from its slot really.

Quite a drop for Quiz Night-not too sure why.

Is Dancing on Ice Friday hurting Corrie?
Great ending figure for Five Days and QI did well to hold up against Corrie.

Poor for Esure.

Five Days has been remarkably consistent across the week. I think it's most impressive rating was against the England football match on Wednesday.

God, the last couple of pages are incredibly tedious - can we get back to laughing at Michael Winner instead please!

ITV just don't seem to know what to do with Friday nights - they went through a stage of aiming for the 16-34's with crap like Moving Wallpaper, and now it seems to be an older audience they're after with crap like Michael Winner - when in reality their strategy in previous years was much more successful - detective drama repeats.

It would mean yet another shake up of the soap schedule, but I'd seriously be tempted to give 8-10pm back to the likes of Morse, Frost and Midsomer, moving Corrie to Tuesdays 8pm (and the Thursday edition forward to 8pm), and then doing something with Emmerdale so it's at 8.30pm both nights - I'd probably ditch the Thursday 7pm episode.

I think they need to ditch the 8:30 ep of Corrie which, like you said, will leave 8-10pm clear to try other things.

In the 8pm hour, I think they should try a new gameshow whether it be an original format or a remake of a foreign gameshow. The 9pm hour could be used for quality American series (from HBO for example).

Night Charnham. ”

I dont think BBC saw Strictly Ice Dancing as a full series, ITV did. Plus the BBC saw that the commercail sector was already providing a similar show so stepped back from making a series, so as not to duplicated what was on commercial TV

Im sure Dancing on Ice has been helped by Strictly Ice Dancing as well.

Nice to see Five Days ending strongly. What happened to Corrie though? Poor ratings for both episodes.

The less said about Winner, the better.

The One Show finished at 7:25 last night.
Eastenders ran 7:57-8:30.

Maybe somehow had a knock on effect on Corrie. Masterchef must have been slightly out sync too.
I expect the DS soap update will publish different figure for Eastenders.

Not exactly scientific, but my mother usually watches all the soaps and I know last night she just left it on BBC1 after EastEnders waiting for Five Days.

Corrie #2 seemed to start early last night as well...certainly before 2030

Yeah, EE should have run as a 35 minute episode. Just watched it on iplayer and it was 33 minutes long. Normal episodes are 28/29 minutes. Also I reckon they could have easily cut 4 minutes from that episode.

It's interesting because when the live episode was running at 34 minutes in rehearsals BBC One told they couldn't possibly give them more than 32 minutes.

Real shame for Winner's Dining Stars. It was one of ITV's most eagerly awaited shows in ages, and is easily one of its better ones, but the ratings just aren't there.

Still, good chance to have a at ITV.

Good week for Five Days, even though the series was a real disappointment compared to the superb original series.

EE doing well even though it was hampered by the early start.

As for the ice dancing format sale, good on the Beeb for flogging its own format.

Can't they sue ITV anyway for copying the SCD/SID format with Tanking on Ice, which is a carbon copy show?

The BBC stole the Strictly Come Dancing format from its ORIGINAL creator for something like 10 bob so I doubt they want to argue the title rights in the courts.

I havent been posting much recently (been travelling and been busy at work, plus the ratings have been dominated by some dreary soap), but your postings are always good for a laugh

There used to be two dreary soaps dominating the ratings.

Now there's just one...

You must have been cheered by the footy ratings on Wednesday? Almost BBC1-like for once!

Although if nearly 9m watched on ITV1, it probably means it would have been one of those 11m BBC1 matches...

That'll stop when inflation starts rocketing over the next few years, and the Licence Fee won't rocket.

Maybe time to ditch the second Friday episode as this always does relatively badly in the ratings and was massacred by SCD and Doctor Who. As with ditching it on a Sunday, this wasn't the end of civilisation as we knew it and few people complained.

Actually it was the first Friday episode that lost to Dr Who. The second episode took over 11m in the officials.

Good night for 5 days and EE. Not sure why CS suffered especially 7.30 episode. Whereas EE really comes across as a drama, you always know with CS you are watching a soap though.

Wonder how ITV will do with FA cup matches, 2nd one is almost directly up against Man U v Wolves on ESPN.
