Mobile pairs but does not connect
Have a HP Compaq nc8430 laptop.
Was pairing with Nokia but then nokia started 'white-screening' and would not exchange Outlook info (using Nokia PC Suite) without resetting the phone and repairing each time. Now I have a Samsung c5220 (again - work supplies cheapies as we work for a charity) Paired and exchanged a picture with daughter's phone. (so the phone it can do it) Pairs with laptop but does not detect connection. Tried using Samsung PC Studio 3 - unsuccessful. Then I read about all the other people who bag this software. I then paired the phone with the laptop to try and use the media player exchange - but no connection. Tried another piece of software to get Outlook data - same problem. Can anyone help? |

For troubleshooting, you need to be explicit about what you have done, what software you are using and the exact error messages or anomalous behaviour you experience.
Without that, only the most general advice can be given. I would start afresh. |

[*]Message appears: Phone did not respond. Note that some models are not supported by this method. It then offers me the option to connect manually.[/LIST] I have had no luck with cable either but want to use bluetooth anyway. In summary can pair can connect but laptop does not want to operate a SYNC of Outlook files or even to connect to do a SYNC. Thanks |
