At least the funeral gives scope for some of the cast like Pauline and Mark to get involved in a storyline (IMO better than the daftness of the holiday camp stuff last week!) James A is a good actor & good to see him with some decent scenes.
The funeral isn't really about a character who left a long time ago (funerals are never really about the person being buried, are they?) but about the reactions of the character's friends and family.
And its A LOT better than kidney transplants, gangsters, and not-quite-incest
btw agree that there's no point resurrecting characters like Tamzin O's. It's the storylining and writing that is at fault here, not the acting (which isn't to say I think the entire cast are marvellous actors, just that lately none of them have had a decent line between them).
Bring back Tony Jordan.
