N900 Ovi Store troubles

Morning

I received my nokia n900 (which i love) and have tried to download some free apps from the ovi store. If I look under the my stuff tab it tells me i have downloaded 4 apps but i cant find them anywhere. Once i download them do they have a special folder i then have to install from ?

They should be in the main menu - top left of the screen. Once you're in there hit "more", and scroll down. New apps get added at the end.

If you want to put a shortcut on one of the desktops, tap an empty area and an icon with a gear will appear at the top. Hit that to get into the desktop configuration, and there's an option to add a shortcut in the desktop menu.
