Earphones for Sansa Clip
I bought a Sandisk Sansa Clip mp3 player and they come with earphones that you push in your ear (not right in).
They sound OK to me. I think I'd like to get ones with a little round plastic bit that actually clips over the ear 'cos the ones that push in your ear always fall out. I'm also concerned that ones that push right into the ear might damage my hearing which is very good even though I'm heading towards my bus pass. ![]() So for say £20 can anyone recommended anything ? Thanks. |

TBH, for twenty quid you're not going to get anything that's staggering in the field of audio, but generally decent names to watch out for are Sennheiser, Ross, Bose etc. They may be outside your price-range. Depends on what sort of sound you're after, or if it's just the convenience of not suddenly losing your music as you run for the bus!
Noise cancelling ones can be good, I know Tescos are doing one over here in Ireland for 20 Euro (that's about fifteen quid I think) and though they're notihing to write home about they do the job. If you're serious about sound, check out www.head-fi.org, where they know everything there is to know about headphones!

Unf I threw away the packaging, and there's no name on the phones themselves. They're some brand X make, come in a dark green, almost military type box. That's all I can tell you unfort...

I went into Tesco today and bought a pair for £9.17 and the box was a caramel brown colour. They have a plastic bit that clips over your ear which is what I wanted. They are Tec Cus comfort clip earphones.
First impressions seem pretty good. They have the same volume level as the earphones that came with my Sansa Clip so that's good because some of my other headphones give a lower volume level. Not sure if they are the ones you bought Trollheart. |

No they're not, Eleanor, but as long as they do you then that's all that matters. \mine are the cover-the-whole-ear type, rather comfy cushioned pads and a small electronic amp (for the noise-cancelling, I guess) that works off a single AA battery.
Glad you got sorted anyway.
