Covering bags under your eyes

I have quite dark bags under my eyes and I have tried covering them with concealer and face powder but neither seem to work properly. Does anyone know any products that work? I have seen the Garnier roll on advertised- has anyone tried it? Is it any good?

i like to dab a bit of cream/white eyeshaddow under my eyes. sounds daft but it helps and gives a more fresh/alert look so that might be worth a go.
Apparently drinking 1 glass of cranberry juice a day helps improve the appearance of dark bags.

I haven't tried Garnier but tbh if i were you, i wouldn't bother. I don't see how that could help. Just my opinion though so hopefully others have tried it and can answer that question properly.

There was a thread on the Garnier roll-on which may help you http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1170191

Just following on from what soapaddictDS said about using a cream/white eyeshadow under the eyes I'd recommend Touche Eclat by YSL - more of a highlighter than a concealer but it definitely gives the eyes a 'fresher' look.

It's an old 'remedy' but using the cream that is sold to treat 'piles' does actually help with any under eye puffiness (something like Preparation H) I would suggest testing it on a small area before applying all over the bags, just in case of an allergic reaction. It's best to put it on at night, and once the bags are under control just use once or twice a week. Also, as someone has already said using a light reflecting eyeshadow, such as a white or pale pink will help cover the dark circles.

It really depends on the state of your eye bags now. If they are just slightly puffy and instead have more dark circle around it then you could get away with just about all types of concealers.

But if they are already quite puffy and very noticeable ( you can tell how baggy they are if you do a sideview profile on the mirror) then nothing you can do much about them except to see a qualified surgeon.

There is also a non surgical treatment now called tear trough fillers, you can research about that too.

Saw on the telly today that apparently this is not true anymore. It used to work ( i know!) but the ingredient has now been taken out because it was made from shark so no more I'm afraid.

I have this same problem and have used Touche Eclat for years, but it dries out my skin a bit. I have recently started using Garnier eye roll on believing all the adverts and the hype but it does nothing.

The best thing I had was an Apricot coloured eyeshadow that I used but it was limited edition and I havent been able to find a shade as a good enough match yet.

I want to know how make up atrists do it! You NEVER see a picture of a sleb with dark bags. They have trickery to highlight certain bits and use cover ups. I guess buy a few shades of eyeshadow that are similar to your skin and try them, as I dont believe any of the so call special eye products I have tried have worked.
