Ive noticed he looks at her in the exact same way he looked at Kay Burley. He had a great relationship with Zarah and Jessica, but with Emily I get the vibe that she gets on his nerves and he can hardly stand the sight of her. There is so little chemistry between them both as well.

Might be just me, but their body language, or at least his, gives a lot away.

Michael hit the nail on the head when he said Emily was too passive. Maybe Fred is tired of giving lots but not getting much back? Emily doesn't give him much energy to feed off of.

I think the exact same. He seems quite intolerant of both Emily and Kay but then again you would need to have unbelievable patience to put up with Kay. I think Emily annoys the hell out of him. He always looks pissed.

i think he likes her but he gets annoyed, which is understandable considering other partners were closer to his age. Emily is very immature, but there's nothing wrong with that, I just don't think they have any chemistry.

I've heard people say this before. I think it was especially noticeable in the first few weeks where he seemed to have to stop himself rolling his eyes at everything she said. It's a bit embarrassing whenever she makes reference to having a bit of a thing for him, he couldn't be less bothered.

I know she's only 19, but imo she's a very immature one and that's what gets on his nerves. I don't think she even tries half the time and that also irritates him.

I don't think that's fair to say she doesn't try. She obviously has because she has actually improved since starting on the show. I feel really bad for her as she has been painted as this immature, brat who is unwilling to work when I really don't think this is the case at all.

The bit about the music being about a girl trying to get with a married man and then she looked at him, he just looked away. She's a silly little girl and the sooner she is off my tv the better.

Fred can barely hide his disdain for her and there has to be a reason for that.

I guess I don't, I just don't like the editing of her being made to be like this it puts her already on a disadvantage to everyone else. She comes across lovely IMO, maybe a bit immature but what is wrong with that? The fact people are whinging about her injury, when she literally couldn't do her routine until today is sad as well,. She just gets all this dislike lumped on her for no reason.

Spot on, she comes across as a petulant ditzy teenager. I feel really sorry for Fred, he looks so bored with her.

I've said before I follow both Emily and Fred on Twitter and I find what they, in particular, Fred says during the week isn't always reflected in the show.

I actually thought Fred and Melinda didn't get on that well. It was all give on Fred's part, on and off the ice.

Fred always appears to me as fed up and peeved with Emily, who came across as babyish and irritating the first couple of weeks, but who has improved in attitude the past few weeks.

He might be handsome but he seems surly and angry all the time to me, andprobably my least fave male skater.

Melinda was one of the more committed skaters during her series, she actually got her children into it as well.

He used to get annoyed with Suzanne Shaw as well. Accept Suzanne was very committed. Or have I got this wrong. Was Suzanne partnered with Matt?

Yeah Suzanne was with Matt. But Fred also skated with Kay and he obviously dislike her a lot. But then that was understandable as she's a pretty awful woman.
