However, BT Together Option 1 and BT Option 2 will go down £1 a month. Also it will go down from 6p per hour to a local or national call in the evening to 5.5p on Option 1.

BT Together 3 will go down £3 a month

So it's not all bad news is it!!!!!

Funny how you only mentioned the negative changes ain't it???

Yeah i know about that , but you take the £1 off, then work out how much you end up paying for everything which has went up , you'll end up paying more than in first place!

Say in a month:

You used 1 calling feature, thats 25p more

Use Ringback 3 times 15p more

Use 1471+3 3 times thats 18p

1571 with personal greeting 50p

Thats £1.08

So not really saving much, there price decrease aint to woderful!

People who just want a cheap line will be forced to have together option 1. This aint fair. many other companies offer calls cheaper e.g. Talk Talk

Im considering moving to IT Plus £5.75 line rental per month.£24 leaving fee from BT.There should be a lot more companys offering deals soon so im amazed by BTs recent price rises.I can only assume BT know that the majority of its customers will accept the rises and not even consider moving.

hmm, that seems quite good, anyone know of any other companies offereing the same service ? (or any reason why I shouldn't switch to itplus)

I don't make or receive any calls on my bt line, its just there for the adsl connection, according to the savings calulator I'd save £49.32, so its certainly worth switching

Ive not found any other companys yet but im sure others will follow.Only downside of joining is 12 month contract,£24 leaving fee from BT and you cant use prefix numbers for cheaper calls.
