I would love to see Gardiner skate - let him put his talent where his mouth is for once and let us see if he is fit to judge anybody. He says he "doesn't have to do it" - YES HE DOES!! Everyone else on the panel have proved themselves or have shown respect to the skaters with the exception of Gardiner and the delightful Miss Bunton. Those who can skate - skate - those who have skated - teach and those which have done neither just carp and criticise and actually their criticism is worth diddley squit.

I'd love to see Pavel swing Jason around but he should hold him by the neck rather than the legs.

Jason and pavel going at it would certainly make for an interesting bit of sunday night viewing.

He came across really childish with his remarks I thought.

I seem to remember that, because of his nasty remarks a couple of years ago, he was challenged to skate, and his reply was that he wasn't allowed to do because of the conditions in his contract.

The demands persisted and there was a short clip of him on TV, wearing an overcoat and a scarf, skating a very short distance in a straight line with a smile on his face. They didn't show two people holding him up before the clip started or him falling flat on his a**e after the clip, which I seriously suspect was the case. His comment was something like "See, I can do it."
