Hi, I want to get my hair cut but am not sure what style to go for or what would suit me. Any advice would be great. Ill put a link to a pic so you can see what style I have now.

Thanks

I'm rubbish on styles but is that your natural hair colour? It's bloody gorgeous! I want.

Note to all DS users; don't click on this link as it apparently has a virus, according to Norton.

I think you could add some volume and texture to your style by going for a choppier look, you can keep the length to your shoulders or a bit above and flick the ends out and have some layers to add the body. The colour is lovely, maybe add a few honey highlights round the front for a summer lightened look.

At the moment you have a lovely shine and colour to your hair, just need some oomph to it. Ask you hairdresser for a chat before you book in to see what they think about a more choppy long bob style.

Thats not my natural colour unfotunately and since that photo was taken I have home-dyed it to a more medium brown colour. I have been thinking of getting it coloured when I get it cut so could go back to that colou again.
I've been thinking of getting layers as my hair i very thick. I've also been considering growing out my fringe. What do you think??

Its up to you about growing the fringe out but it will give you a whole new look. You will need to wear your current fringe to the side and have layers put in so it blends and wont look like it is growing out. Thick hair will look good with layers in as long as they thin it out enough. Then you can go with controlled volume as the hair will be thinner but you can blow dry the layers up and over for the texture. Maybe have some lights put in slices under some of the layers if you dont want to highlight too much. This way you can just see them when you move about. I have this with magenta slices underneath almost black hair, some layers near the front so you get a glimpse rather than being so bold.

IŽd say go for a funky choppy look, keeping it at jaw level or slightly below.

I think something like this would suit you. Think you should definitely keep the fringe anyway
