I know many people know this already, but just in case you don't. I am aware it was Valentine's day on Sunday, and many may have had flowers which included Lillies (any variety) and there was a warning on the label of mine (which is good.)
Please don't let your cat go near the stamens/pollen (the orange powdery bits). It could kill them.
Cats have brushed against them, then licked their fur with the pollen on, it is toxic for cats, some have died.
Simply remove them with a paper towel when the flower opens, it does not harm the flower but could harm your cat.
