Talk Talk's new free service!
OK, you probably didn't believe the thread title but it's true - it was announced on BBC TV's Breakfast programme this morning that Talk Talk are going to offer an opt-in service to receive weekly calls from an individual (always the same person) from the company 'for a chat'.
They allege it's not going to be any type of sales call but is genuinely just for a chat and they will not cold call anyone - their customers have to opt in (and select a 'chat password' to avoid scammers latching on). Sounds like a nice move to get free advertising on the BBC to me! |

Good grief, what next? Do they really think it will bring more people to use them?
