Classy, why does it have to be strapless? From a mans POV, strapless dresses always squish boobies and makes them look less attractive, go for something with straps but plunging, makes your boobs look lush then.

What I meant was on many occasions when Ive been out, ive ended up in bother with other girls because their guys (or a guy they have their eye on) cant stop eyeing me up or comes over to chat me up, resulting in the usual threats, name calling, drink in face or dress ripped

If you think that it is likely to happen that a jealous woman may rip your dress because their man is eyeing you up, then why not wear a dress that will stay on if pulled at, I would be terrified in case that dress fell off/rose up so if there was any chance of someone ripping at it, I just wouldn't wear it.
