And cancelled Sky+, I feel liberated!!

Got the Humax Foxsat HDR and am looking forward to my Sky+ subs running out. I have tried the Humax for half an hour, to make sure all is OK and I'm quite impressed with it so far.

You could grow your empire even more if you enabled the Foxsat box to get the BBC Radio channels on iPlayer for us overseas chappies! The reception of iPlayer radio isn't subject to the overseas ban like the TV channels, so how come I can't get them on Freesat?

From the Guide menu just choose 'record' on the ITV programme that you want to keep: if it is available in HD as well as SD, it will ask you which one you want. Simples.

There aren't any Radio Programmes on BBCiplayer on freeesat wherever you live yet.

Do you think the Beeb will add this in the future? I can get the radio stations via the iPlayer website, but this means relaying the sound from the computer upstairs or using a laptop with its tinny speakers. I often listen to Radio 4 via the Freesat box and it would be handy to use the same equipment for listening to things I've missed.

Not necessarily correct... depending on what device your using, for example the humax, you need to press the 'ok' button not the record button. Pressing record on the epg doesn't offer the choice of hd nor does it offer series link.

Yes I imagine it will be on the list of things to do. Why not invest in a decent pair of powered PC speakers for the laptop. I connect my laptop to my AV amp to use internet radio.

BBC tech team did post to say that radio was on the cards over in Freesat forum.
