You have to use non-freesat mode (Manually tune to 12207 V 27500 2/3)

No unfortunately not. It is not part of the freesat EPG, hence the need to add it via the above method.

I've tried to tune manually tune in Sky New in Non-freesat mode. When i do a search i get a "No Signal Found" message.

The frequency i'm using is 12.207V 27500 2/3 but it has an "A" where the 2/3 should be on the tuning guide.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

Strange - try going to the end of the list and add your own transponder to the database.

Mine says A as well but a search finds 4 sky news channels. You might have a lnb or alignment problem. (What sig strength and quality do get at the bottom of the screen when you dial in the transponder ?)

I have now managed to get Sky news. I added my own transponder as suggested.

Thank for your help.

Does anyone know why Five show sky news at about 6-7am? I came home from work one morning, the other half had left the box on channel five the night before, so when I powered it up Sky News was on.

Took me ages to realise I wasn't watching BBC News! (Just left Sky this month )

Thanks for the tuning info, for some reason when I did a scan for it, all the non-freesat channels say they are either encrypted or not available?

I seem to remember that Five used to get its news feeds from ITN but ditched it last year in favour of Sky News.
