Hi, Ive got a contract with orange and was looking at getting a 2nd phone for work use.

What would be the best option? Im looking at 600 free mins per month with internet access.

Best thing is to get a sim only deal or you could look at putting 2 phones onto one contract, which im sure you can do, Im with orange and my second phone is sim only 600 mins unlimted texts, but to add the net is an extra 5 pounds a month.

Or if you want the proper net look at a dongler. for mobile broadband. But check your signal first to see if its ok for where you work.

Would I be able to get a Blackberry?

For something like that you would need a new contract min 18 moinths. Or your other option would be to buy a Blackberry from Handtec say but that would be 400 pounds on average then have a sim only deal.

But your other option is to have a business contract, but you dont get much.

You could upgrade your current phone if its due an upgrade , but for a blackberry its a new 18 month contract around 45 min a month.

You could get the BlackBerry 8520 for £20 per month on a 24month contract with 400 Minutes, Unlimited Texts and Unlimited Internet and Email; or 400 Minutes, 300 Texts and Unlimited Internet and Email on an 18 month plan for £25.

BlackBerry 8900 would be free on 35+ on 18 months, or 30+ on 24.

BlackBerry 9700 would be free on 40+ 18 months, or 35+ 24 months.

Call 0800 079 2000 and they can simply add the 2nd phone to your account.

Good Afternoon electro7819

I'm part of Vodafone's Web Relations team and would like to offer some help and advice.

There are loads of fantastic deals out there at the moment for BlackBerry phones, and it can all depend on how much you're looking to pay, or how long a contract you're looking for.

You can get the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for free on an 18 month plan at £35 per month which would give you 600 minutes, unlimited text messages, unlimited data and BlackBerry Internet and email services. If you were happy to have a longer contract, you could get the same deal for £30 per month over a 2 year contract.

If you've purchased the phone SIM Free, or been lucky enough to get one from a friend, you can choose from some amazing SIM Only plans that can have the full BlackBerry Services added on from as little as £5 extra per month.

I can see from you're posts' that you're currently on Orange but I'd love to see if I can help. Feel free to contact me using the link below; please include MMM135 in the subject field so that the email comes directly through to my team.

Thing is if you can get a signal on vodaphone where I live one bar, orange full. Thats why I choose orange.

And I dont need a vodaphone booster for my home.

If you did want to look at vodaphone, get a asda sim card as they are a lot cheaper than vodaphone and I think the net is to. But they use vodaphone as their partner for their network.

But one thing with vodaphone, they do put a lot of vodaphone software on their phones and this does cause a lot of problems ie the storm its called branding.

Also with BlackBerry Curve 8520 this is only a 2g phone which means it will be very slow , look for a 3g phone. And this phone on Orange is free 30 pounds a month and you can get upto 900 mins talk time unlimted text and Blackberry bundles and a depending where you are a better 3g signal.

Yes this is true, and their branding is bad, but im on about the Blackberry phones, on the Bold there is hardly anything. But look at the storm phones I know they are only on the Vodaphone network, but there have been a lot of problems.
