New channels coming to Freesat?

Just wondering as I've just bought the Humax Freesat HDR.

Would be nice to see some new channels. Like some music channels that play proper musics...like Scuzz!

Use manual tune and search transponder 11642 V 27500 2/3 to add Scuzz to non-freesat mode channels. Having added at least 1 channel you have a new menu option to switch between modes.

Really? Damn it...I'm hoping I haven't bought into a service that's going backwards

It's not going backwards, Chartshow has chosen the most popular channels to be on freesat due to costs vs profits, that being said they hope to add the channel back to freesat "soon"

As has been said elsewhere in the thread Scuzz is available in non-Freesat mode.

If you like Scuzz then at least you've got radio alternatives in Freesat mode - Planet Rock and Absolute Classic Rock. Not the same as watching videos bit that may be no bad thing.

CNBC is joining tomorrow. OK, not that exciting perhaps.

There have been two indications (see Freesat forum) that Film 24 will be joining within six months. I also heard a few months before Xmas that they intended to join, although I was told that it would be sooner than they've just announced.

(Film 24 is also available now in non-Freesat mode.)
