Because when Andy finds out he'd be devastated and he'll quite possibly let everything collapse around him carelessly...

As this topic is about him attempting to kill Robert, it seems like he'll be a wee bit unhinged...

Has Zoe agreed to let him have the farm then? If he shoots someone he'll have a lot more to worry about than a farm that i'm not sure he even owns.

An even bigger reason for Jack not telling him i'd have thought...

Well he still runs it and makes a living from it some way or other, doesn't he. Whether he owns it or not, he could easily let things fall apart around him, his life and his job.

And obviously he knows before he shoots Jack and will be unstable a bit before that (or so you'd think).

I love how Jack reacted to the news. This is afterall the man who ruined his marriage by having an affair with Rachel, who I believe was his brother's step-daughter (or something similar, I'm sure she had some connection to Joe).

That aside this has finally become an interesting storyline, but I think Andy shooting Jack is abit OTT. A few months back I was sure they would have Andy find out, get drunk and have a one night stand with Debbie (who fanced him at the time). I envisioned him being charged with underage sex or whatever, getting battered by Charity and then Kane when he found out. But then again I just hate Andy and want rid of him

i thought you meant HAA' Kane. On Emmerdale it's Cain.

Well you never know, Kane might be related to the Australian Dingles we saw years ago, and upon hearing the news he flies to Emmerdale to help CAIN beat-up Andy. Now that would be a storyline

Well it would definitley be a bit more interesting than anything else about this tedious storyline. It's been dragging on for way too long. Even the wedding was drawn out. Valentines Day was on Friday, but four episodes later the wedding was shown on Tuesday, and still wasn't done by Wednesdy (if I remember correctly).

The way Katie says Andeeeeeeeee and Robburrrrrrtttttt is annoying, as is the way Ansy says Care Teeeeeeeeee!

I also thought Jack went a bit overboard as well. Hitting Robert without hearing his side first was a bit drastic but I suppose in a way understandable considering the circumstances. But running up and shouting at them in the street is a bit over the top in my view. And quite frankly had nothing to do with Robert threatening Victoria. I mean what does that achieve exactly? I can understand him wanting to make sure the affair was ended but at the end of the day, yelling at them nonstop isn't going to do that is it?
