If Pav isn't on the tour I will be sobbing into my gin until next years show!

I see the final lineup for the tour has been posted on the DOI site.

Joining Ray Quinn, Chris Fountain, Mikey Graham and Gaynor Faye are:

Gary Lucy, Clare Buckfield, Hayley Tamadden, and Emily Atack

I am going to the tour for the first time ever (sooooo excited and cant wait!!)

Does anyone know when the names of the Pro skaters are released?

Pretty much as expected for the 3 from this year, then. Forgive me if I don't think its exactly the greatest line-up ever! :yawn:

But I'm sure they'll be big draws for some!

Soon I would imagine, but five seem obvious from the lineup;

Maria (with Gary) Mel (with Mikey) Dan (with Hayley) Fred (with Emily) and Frankie (with Chris)

Which leaves Ray as the only male celeb to change partners as I would imagine they would leave Maria with Gary (shame really) - he would skate well with Molly or Alex I think.

Also Clare and Gaynor. I would imagine they would want Matt Evers for one of them and maybe Lucaz (if they want a pro routine with him and Alex?)

Well done to Clare, she deserves it

Alex will certainly have a change of levels of ability if she skates with Ray on the tour after partnering Dr. Hilary on the show! One extreme to the other!

Am sad that Danniella and Kieron don't appear to be though

Can't share your joy about gary I'm afraid! Tedious performer even if technically quite good! And I would much prefer to see Maria with Ray again. However I am sure Ray will perform really well whoever he is with, but the chemistry with Maria was quite unique and it is a shame to lose that imo. Agree it is a shame about daniella (would prefer her to Emily) and Kieron (who I would prefer to Gary).

I think the 9th celeb was Donal who only did the Wembley dates Otherwise I think there were 8 at all the other venues. Still have the programme, will check. It does say the final lineup though!

edit: no you are right, there were 9, Ray, Chris, Kyran, Todd, Melinda, Jessica, Suzanne, Roxanne and Zoe, with Donal as a 10th at Wembley. Maybe they are having fewer this time, or more pro routines?

Wasn't Donal kind of squeezed in when they realised they'd booked everyone up a bit early, and he'd ended up being really popular?

Sounds like this time they've settled on 8, which is what it was the first year I think.

I feel a bit sorry for Danny not getting to take part - he could probably have done with the money!

They had Melinda, Jessica, Zoe and Roxanne...but not Donal

Shows the calibre of the celebs this year though, with only 4 being chosen for the tour (I appreciate some may not be able to) there were 7 last year (with Donal). And two of this years are Emily (who wasn't exactly great) and Gary, whose performances will not exactly be a crowd puller. Mikey hasn't really set the rink alight either as a skater (nice guy though!) but I suspect he will sell tickets along with Ray, Chris and now Claire.

OMG Gary is on it now?? If only I had the money, I'd travel to Belfast.

Chuffed Clare is doing the tour. Hope audiece gets behind her as she is much better than Hayley IMO.

Hope Lucasz & Alex are doing the tour. Would love to see another routine from them.

I wonder if the reason there are only 8 couples this year is that Chris only did the tour part time in the last 2 years - hence the need for 9 couples then. If this means more pro routines I will be happy.

Jessica came 3rd, Zoe came 5th (only because of Colleen hogging the votes). Why wouldn't they have been on tour.

They've made a mistake this year by announcing Mikey so early on, I think they thought he'd be another Donal and he most certainly isn't.

Lukasz is definately doing it. I would assume as that is the case then Alex is likely to do it also.

i am being silly again - how do they know who won this year ? Mikey was an odd choice anyway apart from to bring in the fans of whatever boyband he was in and is underperforming. Is he really going to win scoring in the teens? Emily could be nice to watch with more weeks to practice but she can't now win. Gary might win?? Hayley? No Daniella who might just win? Will her marks suffer on the show as she is not going on the tour? Was she available?

Good news about Clare but give her someone Andrei or Matt's size who can lift her to full effect.
