I agree about Daniella, Kieron and gary improving loads and closing the gap on hayley- though I like hayley aswell! Any of those would be a worthy winner atm in my opinion!

I do love Emily, Mikey and Danny aswell though- but I don't think they have improved much (Emily probably being the most improved out of the 3, but still not upto scratch!)
All in all i'm very pleased with the final 7

I agree, she is still ahead of them all, by quite a margin- but that gap is definately getting smaller!!

Hayley is my favourite but I also voted for Gary this week because I loved his routine and I thought he had improved a lot.

Would like to see them both in the final with... er...maybe Danniella?

Mikey is so likeable & he makes it fun too.Hope he can get back to where he was a few weeks ago.I think these skaters are a great bunch,i hope Danny gets a score higher than 17 soon.Gary,Daniella & Keiron are doing so well.Hope Mikey can keep up,i'd love him to make the semi's as it would be on my birthday

Well in my opinion it is pretty obvious Mikey has not improved in the slightest, as all I seem to read on here is "wish Mikey could go back to what he was like x amount of weeks ago"

What is it about our national character that as soon as someone appears to be good at something people start hating them and calling them smug, arrogant, etc?

That's just not true. Daniella is very good too, and few people seem to dislike her. Something about Hayley narks a lot of people - that's just the way it is. You can't presume that someone will be loved, just because they are quite good. Mikey is fairly rubbish, and he still has a lot of fans, for instance.

I don't think some of the Hayley fans help when they get all aggressive in her defence, to be honest, but I understand they feel very passionate about her.

Not an avid Hayley fan (I'm liking many people this year), but can see why her fans are getting a bit miffed. This is a thread to talk about many things..... however it seems there is a lot of negative talk about Hayley, isn't there?

To talk about something else than Hayley , I'm surprised about Kierron. I started off with not being bothered about him at all (wasn't too keen on his partner either), but he has so much enthusiasm, which is rather endearing and won me over.

Also surprised about Daniella, she is so hardworking and likeable, it's a real joy. I thought she would be like an Eastender character.

I also understand now, why Mikey did not have the best week (Mel alluded to it), apparently one of his friends died (committed suicide - that must be so rough).

Kieron has surprised me too. I think if he skates a little more clean and polished he could go much further than expected in this competition !!

Daniella is clearly a hard worker as well...and I wish her the best of luck !!

It irritates me about the negative remarks about Hayley. All she is doing is trying her best, enjoying her experience and trying to put on a decent show...although some people on here are treating her like she's Satan !! Not good...

Oh, poor old Mikey. I didn't know about that. He is having a tough time.

I don't really have a strong favourite this year either. Like you, there are quite a few contestants that I like. I do think I have developed a bit of a soft spot for Kieron. He has tried very hard, really puts everything into it, and as a result has made great strides. Somehow he always makes me smile and makes want him to do well.

I have never been a fan of Westlife so I had never heard of Mikey before, but he comes across as a really nice bloke with a great sense of humour and not a bit star struck, he could be the bloke nest door, but....I do think his skating is getting worse and I don't think he is the potential winner like he was made out to be at the start!
I would miss him if he went out though as he is a great character and the show badly needs some of those!

The reason that few people dislike Daniella is because she is not the favorite to win the show (I'm going by William Hill, Bet365 here...not my personal opinions) and Hayley fans don't feel the need to insult her constantly. I'm positive that if Daniella was in Hayley's position....the tables would be turned drastically.

I'm trying not be be aggressive in her defence...but I really just can't see why people have such a massive problem with her. She's working hard,and trying her best!! Can't people look at the positives for a change?? Cause I'm getting sick of the same old record "Her smile is weird...I hate Dan's winking..what an arrogant sod...Hayley to looose !!! "
