Hmm - I'm doubtful she will achieve perfection - she'd need to be able to hold an edge for a start. I'd be more impressed with a toe-loop or a salchow and might even vote for her if she did a recognisable (that's important!) Flip or loop.

Can't see the adorability factor myself but each to his/her own!

Maybe she should chuck in a parallel sit spin, triple loop and a few triple salchow's...and then skate a better Bolero than Torvel and Dean.....funny how this still wouldn't impress some harsh critics on here :P

I don't think on actual skating Hayley is a good as suzanne was at the same point (taking the week into account). Suzanne was using her edges quite well at this point. I think Hayley is more similiar to Bonnie than Suzanne or Clare who were technically good skaters, she dresses things up very well. I don't think if you put in a Suzanne, Ray or Chris, Hayley would be getting anyway near the marks she is. Having said that I do think she is very good, the best of the bunch at this point, but I don't think she'll win, I think the likes of Daniella will catch Hayley in ability in the end, either her or Mikey will win.

Ahh I guess that explains the 'adorability' factor. I'd give that to Kieron this year I think.

I think Suzanne did a toe-loop and pretty sure Jess did. Even Linda Lusardi did a decent 3 jump (the only thing that impressed me about her skating). So lets see what Hayley can bring.

I think Suzanne did 3 of them yeah. Very nicely as well. Jessica also did a nice little jump. To be honest the jump Hayley does won't make too much difference to me, I want to stop seeing her being Bonnie Langford mark 2 in general.

That's harsh, Bonnie's feet barely touched the ice (other than when she clung to Matt like a drowning woman to a lifebelt) and on the few occasions she did let go she looked like she'd be on her ar*e in milliseconds. Hayley lets go of Dan far more often than Bonnie let go of Matt (mind you, a barnacle lets go of a rock more often than Bonnie let go of Matt) and when she does she looks pretty confident even if she isn't doing the footwork Suzanne or Clare were.

Lol I remember the first time I noticed her skating alone - many weeks into the programme and she was really unsteady ! - surprised me so I agree there should be a week where they have to skate alone for the majority of the routine.

Mikey doesn`t seem to be improving as much as the rest of them imo although he was slightly better this week

I still feel that even though she lets go more than Bonnie did, she's far more like Bonnie in everything than like Clare or Suzanne.
Bonnie did become quite a good skater eventually, she was just enabled in the meantime. I do think Hayley is the best so far, but I do think Dan dresses her up and enables her quite a bit, he does so very cleverly though, he does it with lots of his partners, he's very good at making people look good. She deserves to be top at this point in my opinion, I just think the marks flatter her a bit and if she was up against a Clare or Suzanne she wouldnt be getting them. Like I said I like Hayley, but she's certainly not the best female skater to grace doi by a longshot, she is good though.

Also Mikey has dropped a little yes, but he is still hugely popular. He's quite similiar to Donal and Kyran, he needs to pick it up this week though. But I still think he's a shoe in for the Final. Hayley will make the final as well, she might do a skate off before it (though if she tops the leaderboard she may stay safe) but the judges would save her. Daniella I like will also be there. Mikey is the only boys left that hasn't been in the bottom two.

Mikey hasn't improved at all...unfortunately - this is evident due to the fact that his best performance was week 3, and people keep saying 'hope Mikey gets his confidence back to what it was a few weeks ago'. Either Hayley or Daniella will win, imo !!

I don't see her as like Bonnie. Hayley does solo skating it's just not as difficult skating as some of the others. I would say she was more like Zaraah then anyone.

I think her routines are a bit more entertaining and interesting than Zaraah's IMO !

Hayley probably has a slight edge over Zaraah (see what I did there ). The telling moment will be when she performs an unassisted jump. Can't hide behind a performance there, although if she does a fairly difficult jump and lands it well I'll certainly be very impressed with her.

That will sort the boys from the girls. Every year, the boys do so much better than the girls when it comes to the unassisted jump. I'm really curious how well the two top females this year will cope. Kierron should do well, although he stumbled a bit this time around, he has already attempted a jump.

Lets face it no-one has Chris and Ray beaten on jumping and I doubt they will.

Agree with you about Gary, Danniella & Mikey, but not about Hayley. I wouldn't mind seeing her win, but I don't think she will!

Well Kierron might surprise you, however, Ray's was pretty amazing (and Chris' jump was impressive as well).

I somehow don't think that either of the girls this year will top that.
