He signed up to the tour pretty much as soon as the shows started, I think - not sure why it all happened so early to be honest. Might have been better for the tour and Mikey himself to have waited a little while...

Well obviously yep, that's true! Though I still think its odd for them to sign up anyone so early in the competition, before you actually even really know whether or not they're going to be good or not...

Being good at skating is not necessarily a requirement for the tour - last year didn't they have Todd Carty on the tour?

One of the reasons I didn't bother with tickets, despite an early alert when they went on sale.

I want to be entertained, but not in a Todd Carty sort of way.
