Yeah I know what you mean about Frankie. I can appreciate she's trying to protect her partner and Chris did get an awful lot of stick for it but she talked about it way too much and probably did him no favours.

Donal was something special. I don't ever recall a contestant improving that much in any season. It's just a shame he was in the same year as Ray and so was always going to be overshadowed by him because his achievements were fantastic.

I don't know how they can top series three and four.

Although my personal favourite this year is Kieron.

They lift because they can't spin or jump and something has to happen. The men are even worse off because only the very top 3 or 4 have ever been able to spin or jump and they can't even do the lifts as even the few who can lift can't do many. The show could concentrate on dancing steps and acting and the better girls and boys do get routines that emphasise that - but only some of the females and very few of the males can act or dance either.

I think they should have a week where they dance solo with some compulsory elements. I also think at the last part of the series when they do the flying that should be just for show not be made part of the marking as it's their dancing skills we're supposed to be looking at.

They usually have a solo skating required element in the semis, where the celeb has to skate solo for 30 seconds.
