Jennifer Lopez parts from record label, album release cancelled!

If this is true, I will be deeply annoyed because I've enjoyed all the singles/leaked songs so far from "Love?" Will it ever get a full release or just leak onto the internet? |

Just checked she is on the Sony label. You cannot just walk away from a label & find another one if they really want to keep you with the handcuff (financial) deals they have these days.It sound like Sony didn't think they weren't going to make any money out of her & have dropped her (or a mutual thing which amounts to the same thing).

I guess after the failure of Louboutins they didn't have faith in her album selling well. It's a shame though, I hope she releases it on another label.

Apparently she might be going to Def Jam.

She released a statement saying she's signed with another label....Apparently ended because she fulfilled her contractual responsibilities....so maybe it was a mutual decision....xo

I think she's hoping to get the album out on the same date as planned before this all happened. I've got high hopes for this album so I hope the new record label doesn't affect the release etc.

Her last two albums flopped and her comeback single was completley ignored by radio and was unable to get anywhere near the top 100 on itunes so im not surprised the label let her go.

Actually only her last album flopped. The one before wasn't a big seller but wasn't a flop.
Did the record label let her go, or did she leave to her own accord? I doubt a flop lead single who lead to them letting her go. Maybe it was creative differences? |
