So Diana Vickers is finally debuting her long awaited material. The first single 'Once' is out April, with the album following a week later.

It seems that everything there releasing for the campaign is getting rave reviews, even people who weren't originally fans seem to mainly like it.

I actually really like 'Once' now, it has grown on me after loads of listens, I can see what everyone likes about it.

Anyway, anyone have any predictions on how well it will do ?

I'm going to go all out and say that 'Once' will go to Number #1. I think it will be one of the biggest singles of the year.

I also think her album will become a huge seller.

Hopefully number 1! Huge Diana fan and the single is amazing. Definitely will make the top 5 though, I'm sure of that.

I can't stand the girl or her unbelievably grating voice, whether she's talking or singing.

But honestly - I would give her credit if this song was any good. But I just cannot hear what's so great about it. It sounds too repetitive and lifeless - and the way she sings the word 'you' annoys the hell out of me. But the 'Once, Once, Once' bit is quite good.

Would anyone be talking about it if she wasn't 'That Diana Girl Off X Factor' ? No chance.

She's got over that and carved a career for herself both with singing and without it.

Seeing as Ellie Goulding's "Starry Eyed" could make top 5 this weekend, I'd say "Once" will definately peak in the top 3. It's a great song, very catchy. Ellie and Diana are very similar imo.

I think those who've been saying it'll get to number 1 are very optimistic Diana fans. Unfortunately I don't think this'll be the case. Don't get me wrong, I liked Diana during XF and Once is a good song which could well chart somewhere in the Top 10, but I think going straight to number 1 is a bit too optimistic!

Yeah I don't begrudge her that, but it's just the way so many people are getting excited about her releasing stuff, and how she's got to work with some big names.

Neither of those things would of happened if she never appeared on X Factor.

I hope it does well, it's a great song IMO. Better than most singles by TXF contestants.

You say the most painstakingly obvious things over and over again when it comes to JLS,Leona, etc. and now Diana, and I'm just thinking "erm.. no s***, Sherlock?"

So nobody would care about her if she wasn't on X factor... well you can't care about what you don't know, and she made herself known, by going on the X Factor. I think people get it. You repeating this is getting boring.

I'm predicting number 1 because it's fresh, edgy and exciting. She's also likely to be heavily promoted from March onwards so that will definitely help. Worst case scenario is a Top 5 placing because any lower would be a crime for this killer debut from Diana! .

I'm not sure it'll go to number-one. I think it'll be popular though.

Does anybody know when she's releasing it, and what she could be up against?

I think it'll go to Number 1 or Top 3

Alexandra's year was definitely a strong one on the X Factor

I doubt anyone expected Ellie Goulding to challenge for a top 3 place though so, seeing as both artists are similar, anything could happen. It is extremely catchy though so should go top 10 at the least.

It's not really that, it's just this whole thing of people going 'oh Diana's becoming such a credible artist, more so than anyone else from X Factor' etc. But if that's what she intended to be then why did she enter the show in the first place?
