I can reveal he is going to get murdered by Bethany!
Maybe he will just run off with some man like Nick?!

He heads off to see the Wizard Of Oz to plead with him to grant him some attitude!
Or Nick's death will make him realise what a poor substitute Karl was for Gail's precious eldest and leave as the street reminds him of Nick too much.. |

Did the actor choose to leave?
If not how pants - they finally get a gay character only to get rid of him! |

My guess would be, after a short time with Karl he realises that they don't want the same things, and he decides to go back to the original plan, passes his exams and goes to college/university.
I would prefer him to, for some reason, murder the greasy builder and then flee the street, with the sound of millions of views thanks still ringing in his ears. No, I've no idea why he'd kill Charlie, I just wish someone would

I reckon it will be the university thing. They seem determined to leave the door open for when he wants to come back into the show in about 2 years time, realising that a part on Heartbeat of Holby is not exactly groundbreaking and challenging as this must have been

yeah but it isnt allways groundbreaking and challenging working in Coronation Street - and the longer you stay the worse it gets - how many challenging storyline has Jack and Vera had recently ? More chips ? Found your dog ?

Probably Uni, or the other option may take slightly longer than October to put in practice for though!
Todd rejects Sarah for Carl. (Sarah has the baby and spends several months blaiming the baby for the breakup of her relationship with Todd, and gives the baby up for adoption (which the croppers apply for!)) Todd meanwhile lives with Karl, but suddenly realises that this isn't what he wants. meanwhile Kevin and Sally are constantly arguing and Kevin starts getting frendly with eileen, Kevin leaves sally for Eileen. leaving Sally alone (as the girls go off with Kevin). Todd and Sally slowley get closer through wallowing in their combind troubles, and decided that each other is their true ideal. but they can't stay around the street so they elope to Brighton (or Newcastle! whichever is the holding place at the moment! for unwanted corrie characters!) |

I think university would be the obvious thing. If the writers were to go down this road he could then come back to the Manchester area in a couple of years with a degree and pop into the street from time to time to sue different people
He was supposed to study law.Alternatively, he and Karl go off and get married (yes, I know this has already been mentionned elsewhere, I helped write it !) and then go on a honeymoon world trip, coming back in a couple years. Then there's the option that he decides that he needs to get more into the gay scene so goes to San Fransisco to learn from a master and experience more of life. Either way, Corrie have said they are NOT going to kill him off, so there is an up-side to the story.

I think sadly he will probably commit suicide over the whole gay thing, this would be a very plausible and thought provoking storyline

Travelling round the world to "find himself" is my guess. If he went to uni they would have to come up with reasons why he didn't come home every holiday. Not that I think either of these things would be an "explosive" exit but explosive usually means death and they've said hes not going to die.
