I don't believe Karl thinks he can fall in love with Todd. When he's had him he'll dump him and move onto his next 'challenge'.

If this happens then I think they should show how upset Todd is (and still confused by his sexuality) and have him ringing the Gay Switchboard. After all I thought part of the reason for introducing this storyline was to help young people in similar situations? I haven't seen much evidence of this yet.

When Todd's clear in his mind and has the confidence to act on it then I think he should go back to university. Otherwise I think they will just have him move to London or Brighton like most of us did!

I agree about Todd phoning the Gay Swtchboard.
In fact, IMHO there should be a Public Service Announcement at the end of these episodes on the lines of "If you or a member of your family has been affected by issues raised in this programme...."
But...back to the topic...the most obvious answer is for Todd to go to Uni.
Heaven forbid that he should marry Sarah, even though they seem to be rehearsing/filming the pre-nuptual rehersals at the church

Todd will move in with Karl. Robbie will come back to get his revenge and stab Todd who will be rushed to the hospital by karl. Karl will go mad and go after Robbie. They fight and both die. Todd gets better but finds out Karl is dead so takes an overdose! He doesn't quite die so Gail kidnaps him and keeps him locked in her celler to slowly torment for messing up her daughters life. Nick finds out 6 weeks later when he goes to get a bottle of wine from the celler and finds a dead Todd lying on the floor and GAIL written on the walls in blood!!!

Todd seems like a vulnerable chap. What about if Robbie comes back and woos Todd as a way of getting back at Karl. When it all came out in the wash, Todd would have to leave and there would be room for lots of intense drama and argy-bargy.

I beg you pardon. Don't you dare think I'd joke about stuff like that. My cousin died of AIDs 2 years ago.

People have died of cancer etc in soaps in the past, I don't see why an important topic such as AIDs shouldn't be touched on to make people see the importance.

I'd think again if I were you about making such a disgusting post.
