I didnt know how to title this thread, and im just being a nosy parker.

When you cook pork chops, how many do you have ? How about thin loin chops, lamb chops etc ???

I only ask as i have 2 pork chops with my dinner, and sometimes 3 thin loin chops if we are having those. My husband thinks this is too much. Is he right ?

We have one ordinary chop with bone each, but two each of the thin boneless lean ones.

If we have lamb chops I always get my meat from the butchers, so they are quite expensive so I ask for large chops, have one each and buy a few chipolatas to cook with them to make a bigger dinner.

Normally one for me but I'm an 'eat less but often' gal. I can easily have 5 meals a day so normally stick to 1 portion of meat but if you were sticking to the traditional 3 meals then I don't think 2 or 3 pork chops is too excessive. Not unless you were doing it quite frequently.

Depends on the size of the chop ... the ones tesco do in a pack of 3 me and the missus share i.e. 1 and a half each .... i could quite happily eat all 3 though lol

Just 1. It is usuially the largest I can find and also usually have potates and two other veg.

My fave recipe is a rick stein recipe with sage butter and cider sauce. It's handy having a larger chop on the bone so that it doesn't dry out.
