Hey all.

So I got an Nokia N900 from the Nokia store in London on Vodafone, but am not entirely happy with it for a number of reasons...

So my question is: If I sell my N900 in Cex or something, how do I go about getting a 16gb 3GS from Vodafone? How much will it be?

I cannot upgrade for another 24 months and not sure I want to stick with the N900 for that long...

Any advice appreciated!

Why don't you like the n900, my friendjust got one on upgrade and I was really jealous!!

I've just brought an updated iPhone from the one I had, which is 16gb and I paid 450 brand new. If I hadn't of sold my old iPhone and a few other old phones I wouldn't have been spending that much!

You should get a fair bit for your current handset...

Well the reason I got the N900 was for the divx/xvid playback (which is jerky and not good).

Now it has started quitting the media player in the middle of a video and I have to reboot it to get the video back. I watch a lot of video on the device, and now I am converting them all to H264 for smooth playback I might as well have an iphone instead which is a smoother user experience.

The web browsing on it is phenomenal yes, but I watch a lot of tv shows and I need this to work well.

So £450 from Voda?

Vodafone dont sell it on PAYG at the moment your best option is to buy a used officially unlocked one or a brand new 02 iphone then top it up with £15 and get o2 to unlock it.

Yeah the browsing is fab, but the promised video support is lacking even with the additional codecs installed.

Regardless of the spec, i really don't like the aesthetics of it, especially the slide out key pad. A phone should either have a touch screen or a key pad, not both.

You can buy the iPhones handset-only from Vodafone shops, £460 for the 16GB 3GS. (£370 for the 8GB 3G and £550 for the 32GB 3GS).

I was in a store today with a friend and witnessed an SA selling one box-only, and I know of several other people who have purchased them box-only from various Vodafone stores.
