Really doubt that Eileen would do this, and that ITV wouldn't notice, and that it would be in the script. Has to have been muck. We'd have noticed if it wasn't.

I was wondering whether she said one or the other. I'd settled on "muck" though.
Do you have an audio file of this you could share ?

It made me look up too!

I could have sworn it was F rather than M.

I meant to watch it again on ITV2 but forgot. Will have to watch the omnibus.

Maybe she has a cleft palate, or had a hair lip when younger.

What do you call a dog with a hair lip?

Mark! Mark mark!

Rudi

Sorry, was that un-pc? I brought through a lot of youth dogs in the seventies y'know. (Big Ron reference).

I heard it and it did sound like it began with F .... I am sure it was not meant to be

I definitely heard her say it - Maybe Corrie will try sneaking in swear words from now on. We could get Rita calling Norris a C*nt or Sarah calling Karl an a*se bandit.

I definitely thought she used the stronger word as well, but thought if she had done there would have been an influx of announcements about it on here, which led to me assuming I had misheard her. I'm sure newspapers such as the Medai Guardian would have picked up on it if it had happened as this would be a major event (relatively speaking!).

I was almost certain she said the F word.

The people in Coronation Street still go round saying things like 'blimey' so it's highly unlikely they'd use ****.

My gran is practically deaf and we had on the subtitles. Thjey said muck...but then that could be a cover up Plus you know how awful subtitles are....always strange words you've never seen before in your life!

I heard "f***" the first time but on hearing it again it was definately muck, but I reckon the very similar word was used on purpose!

Yes - what's good about Corrie is the totally believable script, even though none of the characters swear. They can get away with saying 'chuffing' and 'blimey' without us thinking how ridiculous it is.

My Italian Mother in Law thought that the words to the famous Police song were "F*cking on the Moon", because that's what it sounds like. And it does.

Yes, heck's a good one. They use that a lot. And people like Bette Lynch used to use 'flaming' - flaming heck.
