Sad when you think of it now I can see what Amy Winehouse comeback might look like.

What did any of those punters expect? The woman smoked crack for a decade.

Comparing this to her first performance on GMA last year, she has come on leap and bounds. Obviously it's nowhere near her heyday but these people must be fans, it's obvious from her newest album that her voice isn't the same so they shouldn't expect the same voice from 1990. I don't think she's ready for a whole world tour though.

I managed about a minute of I Will Always Love you and had to turn it off. Dreadful. Whoever gave her the okay to tour should be ashamed of themselves; she's so obviously not up to it any more and it's not fair on the public to take their money knowing this.

Whitney used to be an amazing singer and it's absolutely tragic to see how far she has fallen. So very, very sad indeed. I fear she's going to be remembered in the future for all the wrong reasons.

I saw her with my sister in 1993 at Sheffield Arena and she sounded awful there too. Maybe it was something to do with the sound there but don't think so. She was off-key a lot of the time.

Fortunately, there's youtube, where her live earlier performances will live on But yes, it's quite unnerving/unsettling how someone who could sing so well, could lose their voice to THIS degree! I know she's had vocal nodules sincce bodyguard, but if I could sing even a fraction as well as she could, there's no way I would go near alcohol, cigarettes or crack!

1993?! What song/s was it?

Also, surely her true fans will know the condition of her current voice anyway, and shouldn't have been so shocked as to walk out?

I reckon this could be the last of Whitney once her tour is done. Her comeback album was alright. But i don't see a place for her in the charts anymore. I really don't.

Back in the day, it was all Whitney, Mariah, Madonna. These days it's all Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga.

The australian concert promoter is the only person who hasnt noticed the crap thats on offer for AUS $165...

The days of megastars serving up any old crap to far away Australia/New Zealand are gone thanks to the internet.

Watch this and feel your teeth itch !

True.

I was really excited about her comeback album and tour. Until I saw her on the X-Factor and it was so embarrassing to sit through I decided there and then that I didn't want to go and see her anymore. I'd rather appreciate her for the artist she was than be disappointed about the tragic figure she's become.

I also saw her back in 93 and it was one of the worst concerts I'd ever been too. Her singing was ok, but the bits in between were embarassing and self indulgent.

Yes. That was cringeworthy listening to that. If that had been an audition process on the X-Factor, she'd have been rejected by Cowell. IF she did smoke crack/smoke for a decade, why do people risk ruining their talent by taking up an activity that could endanger it?

It's definitely not an "if". She freely admitted last september on her Oprah interview, and went into great detail how she would spend days in her pyjamas in her bedroom locked up, just doing crack. But I agree, such a waste.

the video was removed - I wonder if it was a fan who thought the performance was acceptable and then got some truthful comments
