Motorola Razr V3I Help

Hi I would appreciate it if anyone has any advice regarding browser settings for the Razr.

I have recently bought this phone from Amazon - sim-free!

I have the correct settings sent to the phone, but cannot access the internet. I can get to the home page (Orange) but can go no further.

There is also a button for MotoMusic but that won't connect either.

I have tried the phone with my old Tesco Mobile sim and that too will not allow any internet access.

Have a I purchased a phone that is not compatible in the UK?

Well its not a very good phone but it is compatible. You will need to give full info so that we can try to help.
What exactly do you mean by 'can go no further'? Do you mean that you can't enter a URL? Or you can't click on a link? Or that you can do these but get an error message (if so tell us what it is)? Or something else.

Hi, prking

I get different error messages, mostly 413: page cannot be displayed or 500: internal server error

I can get onto the Orange home page, but can't then click on any of the links, as error 413 above comes up. The MotoMusic button on the main menu goes to 500: internal server error.

A 413 error message means that the page contains something that stops the browser from loading the page. Perhaps it is too big for the handsets memory or the phone doesn't support an essential feature.
500 means that an error has occured at 'the other end' and is likely temporary.

What you could do to solve the 413 error, is use an alternative browse like Opera Mini. This will 'compress' web pages so that they fit on the phone. If your phone browser will do it, go to the address mini.opera.com to download it, follow the instructions on www.operamini.com using your PC.

Will give that a go.

Thanks
