Its cheap rental but you gotta pay for the privilege and also its £20pm in return for £60 credit pm, thats works out as 600 text (not MMS) at 10p each and NO calls or 400 minutes worth of call with NO text, so once you mix in calls, text, voicemail, mms etc its not great. On the plus side I was told by Tesco Mobile staff that their "unlimited" internet on the iPhone only get capped at 1tb unlike Oranges 750mb or Vodas 1gb.”

Well I did say it's the best "if you don't make a lot of calls/send a lot of texts"

And even with the cost of the phone it still works out cheaper.

My wife has got an iPhone on O2 at £35pm and it is expensive but it is very good.

In my opinion only O2 or Tesco(o2) are worth using because their plans are generally unlimited, any sort of cap on data is restrictive you can easily do a gb per month on an iPhone.

My work colleague got his iPhone on o2. Then he spent a couple of hours manually adding his contacts to his iPhone because they don't transfer from a sim card. I didn't know this was an issue with it. Why doesn't Apple allow contacts to be transferred via sim card like other phones?

There is a way to copy/move your contact over from the sim to an iphone

Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar -> Import SIM Contacts
