Has anyone ever had their hair cut at a college by one of the students? I can't really afford an expensive hairdresser at the moment and I only want a trim. My hair is quite long though and I'm just worried they will end up hacking loads of it off!

My friend went to do hair and beauty at college and if you ever went in for a treatment they were always overlooked by a staff member to prevent stuff like having your hair totally chopped off. They are very good though, can't say i've had a bad experience.

But if your worried you can always go to a regular hairdressers and ask if they've got any trainees, thats usually cheaper as well.
