Does anyone here drink energy drinks like Relentless, Monster etc?
In the last year or so I've really started to get into drinking the likes of Relentless and have recently discovered Monster which is probably nicer than Relentless and cheaper too.
Does anyone else drink these drinks or similiar energy drinks? Does anyone know if these are bad for you? I've heard they contain the equivilant to 4 cups of coffee and must only be drank in moderation. I generally only drink 2 of these cans on Saturday and again on Sunday and that's it. I'm not addicted to it, but really enjoy having them at the weekends

I do occasionally. My favourite is Rockstar I think.
Best enjoyed in moderation - they're very high in sugar and obviously excessive doses of caffeine isn't all that great for your heart and bloog pressure! |

I only ever drink them with alcohol. Probably not the most sensible combination but fun nonetheless!

My sport mad son prefers 'Tesco' own then any other brand.
I've never used them expect when on a holiday to Oz & during a long journey brought 4 large cans of one called 'Mother'. Apparently the beloved had to buy me another can the next day as I was a miserable old bugger after drinking the four large cans the day before and needed a pick up, haven't touched one since ....

At uni last year we got a free case of monster so we held a vodka-monster party. Good fun.
I rarely drink them, but sometimes feel the need for a red bull when facing an early lecture after a late night. |

They're not bad for you. Just don't drink too many of them, as with anything.

I love Juiced Relentless but only buy it ocassionally as it's expensive.
I usually have a litre of Asda Diet Blue Charge with me when I have a really early morning. |

I love Relentless, prefer to Monster as its rather sweet, reminds me of palma violets
![]() We only buy them when they are on offer 2 for £2 or something because of the price. I used to get the sainsburys blue bolt until they changed the recipe and it had a coconut twang to it. It's probably just as well though, I drank so many in such a short space of time and had coffee in between I had bad palpatations!!!! |
