Hi all, i've invested in an ipod and had various albums etc on it. I ripped loads of cd's to the pc today and did a 'sync' and after numerous backwards and forwards basically ended up with all the stuff i'd ripped today but none of the original stuff, which is still on my pc incidentally.

I don't have masses of space to be able to store everything together then sync with the ipod, is there anyway of adding folders from here and there (i.e, c drive and m drive), without overwriting what is there?

Any help much appreciated guys!

Are you using iTunes?

Turn off Automatic synching in iTunes the next time you connect your iPod.

Then it should let you specify what goes on your iPod from your iTunes library, without moving stuff it shouldn't. Unless that's not how it works anymore.
