I used to love Don't Stop Believing - I wish they'd leave it in peace a bit now though...

Plus During Jayne and Chris' routine 4 of the pros will be on the ice too, Dan, Fred,Maria and Mel.

Why does Hayley seem to keep getting the good songs to skate to? she has skated to quite a lot of fast uptempo popular songs and now shes got Don't Stop Believing this week which is popular at the moment, I swear she is getting favouritsim from the people in charge

Theres been quite a lot of good music all round. I think they tend to match music to personality a lot too and as she's an ubeat kinda person then this music suits her style, although I would prefer a bit more balance and let her have another slow number.

Ah but according to the Sharron VT last week, faster numbers are more challengin, thus Hayley is getting the difficult numbers

Actually, it's a great number, and if I was one of the other competitors, I would certainly think "damned" why didn't I get this one.

Don't get me wrong I think the songs a good one and it will suit her personaility but it does seem that some contestants are getting really crap song choices whilst Hayley keeps getting good ones, for example I can't remember a good song choice they have given Danny or Mikey? BTW I do like Hayley so this is not me having a go at her just whoever is deciding the song choices

I honestly didn't think you had a go (and if you had, it wouldn't matter either as I think you made a very good point). I just felt a bit mischievious after the whole Sharron discussion about the merrits of slow and fast songs.

In essence I agree with you. Mikey was also given a really horrible routine last week (I don't like western style routines - yak). They also seem to be intend to give Kieron music that was way before his time (although I sometimes think he has a very limited music taste - no criticism - but come on he should know something about punk music, or am I showing my age).

There is no doubt about it, don't stop believing is a good song choice, and I would be jealous if I were one of the others.

I just hope nobody is having a dig at Hayley because she is getting a good song? EH?

I think, to be fair to him, a lot of his apparent ignorance of punk last week was probably him joking for comedy value. I mean, he'd definitely heard of 'punk rock' before! I'm roughly the same age as him though, and I'd never heard of his song prior to DOI either, so that bit was probably accurate! I don't think punk is really Kieron's scene anyway, put it that way...

Mikey is apparently dancing to Bruce Springsteen 'Dancing in the Dark' this week.

Well it shouldn't happen, as we don't know what the other songs are! Someone might have the songs of all songs (don't know what that could be though).

There is also the other side of the coin, a lot of people might hate it now, because it has been played too much. Not everyone likes Glee (I know shock horror **hides away**) or the original version of the song (fools I tell yah).

I don't think 'Get Happy' is a noticeable popular song.

But in saying that - I'm looking forward to Hayley's performance and to see what she does with it.

Danny and Frankie were on This morning yesterday.

They are doing, from what I could understand, that scary move that Fred and Mel do, where the girl is lifted above the boys head, then dropped down his back and caught between his legs and pulled through.

I think its a relatively legitimate excuse that the record was released about a decade before you were even born. Especially when you're only young!

Kieron's friend has posted on his fan facebook page that "they have the most fantastic song to dance to next week my favourite up to now...", so I wonder what that'll be...

Sounds like the sort of risky thing he needs to do though... He can't afford to play safe when he's so at risk of going out.

I hope Frankie trusts him though!
